Trenton Goodfellows Drive

I am in need of three people to stand at the Tractor Supply Store on Van Horn on Friday, November 17^th at any of the following times:

10 a.m. to 12:00 noon

12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

If anyone can help, please call. All the donations go to the Trenton Goodfellows. We will have Goodfellow Newspapers to handout for their contributions.

Trenton High School Athletic Banner- $250 Sponsorship Discussed for one season spring to get summer on West Rd.. motion passed.

Dist 6400 Gov Outing -Golf Outing- Discussed, Foursome, $75/each Club to pay $150 total as in years past.- motion approved.

Hurricane Harvey Relief- Discussed, John A. will hold to see if we can help with the later hurricane efforts, no action taken

Trenton Christmas Parade $125 for light up sponsor, discussed motion approved.

Penrickton Fundraiser Discussed, $50/person plus $500 sponsorship for a total of $1,000 motion passed

The Great Tailgate

At last week's meeting, I mentioned that we have a tentative profit from our Great Tailgate of about $39,000! That is relatively close to the $40,000 netted from last year's event! We have a few details to work out but believe that to be a good estimate. Nice work, everyone! As President John mentioned in last week's newsletter, a $9,000 check was presented to Penrickton Center for Blind Children at their Annual Kick-off Dinner. That was based on an estimated profit of $36,000 so they have a few more dollars coming their way! As you recall, the proceeds will be split four ways so once everything is finalized, the proceeds will be split evenly with 25% each to Trenton Rotary, Taylor Rotary, Penrickton and DYPAC. There are more presentations to follow!

I wanted to once again thank the Trenton Rotarians that served on the committee: Mike Concessi, Paulette Dillingham, Matt & Jackie Hatty, Noel Jackson, Kathy Kane, Wes Mator, Mike McCullough, Kimberly Mott and Ray Yee. Thanks for attending all the committee meetings and the extra time behind the scenes to make the event a success! Kyle Stack helped out as well by serving as one of our Honorary Chairs and reaching out to potential sponsors...thank you, Kyle! Also, thanks to all the Trenton Rotarians and their spouses that helped out at the event....you helped to sell those raffle tickets that greatly contributed to the bottom line! Thanks also to my co-chair Larry Wright and the Taylor group that put in a lot of time, and to Justin Rose who served as emcee for the night and entertained the crowd. With all these pieces put together, we had a pretty successful event and raised money for worthy children's causes....good job, everyone! Go Blue! Go Green!
