Happy Monday!
Our speaker today is Bill Richardson and he'll talk to us about climate changes. Welcome, Bill!
Congratulations again to the our Castignola Scholarship winners for 2015: Brielle Bashore, Aevah Hebda, Lauren Solano and Dustin Kane! Very deserving candidates!
We had a nice group at Rotary After Hours on Wednesday evening. The weather even cooperated so we could enjoy the evening out on the porch at Savannah's!
Trenton Rotarians Mike McCullough and Noel Jackson are celebrating the Rotary International Convention in Brazil as we speak! We've seen a couple pictures on Facebook and it looks like they're having a good time so far!
This Thursday, June 11th, is our last board meeting for the year. Board members, and new board members for the upcoming Rotary year, are invited to attend at 6pm at Savannah's. Please let me know if you can't make it. I want to thank the board for all their hard work and support this year....what a great group of Rotarians!
The Rotary Installation Dinner is coming up on June 18th. Make sure to let Laurie know if you're attending and bringing a guest. Please come for this important event for our club and support incoming President Bob Howey and his new board!
Tickets for the Christmas in July River Cruise on June 20th are going fast so make sure to get yours! The cruise departs from the Pier 500 in Wyandotte at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 per person and that includes pizza and music and a cruise down the Detroit River. Besides being a nice evening of fellowship, this event helps to fund expenses at the Roar on the River so please try and come out!
Have a good week!
