Welcome, Rotarians!

Last week’s meeting gave us a chance to reflect on our Sunshine Shenanigans event—and what a success it truly was! That kind of energy, enthusiasm, and impact doesn’t happen by accident; it’s the result of an incredible team coming together with a shared purpose. Thank you to each and every volunteer who helped make the evening run so smoothly.

A heartfelt thank you to:

• Rose Angela and Kim Mott for warmly greeting guests at the registration table.
• Peter Poulos, Deana, Debbie, and Noel Jackson for making everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrived.
• Bill Jasman and John Grover for keeping things moving seamlessly at the credit card station.
• Lauren and Bruce Jocks for bringing great energy to the Sunshine Raffle Board and working tirelessly to sell every last “sun.”
• Vicky Brown and Deb Nykiel, who did an outstanding job managing the Beach Bag Raffle and keeping the lines flowing with ease—along with Mike Concessi for stepping in to assist with checkout.
• Our Main Raffle team—Ed Neubecker, Laurie Dixon, and Brendan Gillespie—for an incredible effort, selling an impressive 211 tickets!
• And just when we thought the excitement had peaked, our 50/50 team—Mark Angellotti, Ed Nykiel, and Wes Mator—raised an amazing $1,750. Outstanding work!
• Kathy Kane for leading the anticipated Wet T-Shirt Contest.
• And finally, our dedicated setup and cleanup crew—Jean Wloszek, Val and Joe Dzagulones, Ed and Debbie Nykiel, Bob and Kathy Paulbeck, Matt and Jacke Hatty, and Mike Concessi. We truly could not have done this without you.

My sincere thanks to everyone who volunteered, attended, sponsored, and helped make this event such a meaningful success. Your commitment is what allows us to continue making a difference in our community.
