Foundation Dinner Event

--Come to the Foundation Dinner Event $75 per ticket. Includes Dinner, Open Bar and great fellowship
--Spend $75 for a ticket and round it up (to$100) with $25 donation straight to the foundation
--Spend $75 for a ticket and add $100 to be a sustaining member
--Spend $75 for a ticket and add $1,000 to become a Paul Harris Fellow. (please donate the money thru TRF and then send me a copy of your donation receipt so we know to recognize you)
--You may also purchase a table of 8 and get recognition in our Program booklet for the event for $800
--Spend $75 and add the difference to your next level of giving to achieve that milestone. If you’re not sure what that amount is, please contact Sue Goldsen sue@goldsen.com. TEF Update

TEF Wall of Fame Deadline Sept. 1

The Trenton Educational Foundation board of directors are inviting members of the community to submit applications for the Trenton Educational Foundation Wall of Fame. The forms can be found at https://trentonedfoundation.org/wall-of-fame or at the School Board Office 2603 Charlton, Trenton, MI. Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Please nominate a worthy retired teacher, administrator or TPS grad who is excelling in their career industry. The deadline is Sept. 1, 2023.

The Wall of Fame volunteer committee can induct a maximum of three people each year. They have inducted thirty people over eleven years. The recipients represent many Trenton High School graduates who have excelled in their chosen field of work. Many of the recipients were past Board Members, Superintendents, Principals and Teachers who made great contributions in making Trenton one of the best school systems in the state. Candidates must be separated with TPS for at least two years and not in active TPS employee to be considered. The ever-growing Wall of Fame is located in the Trenton High School Lobby.

A Blast! for the Future.

The Trenton Educational Foundation is holding the annual Signature Event on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Crystal Gardens in Southgate. The group hopes to host at least two hundred guests with anticipation of raising at least $70,000 for the Foundation.

“A Blast! For the Future, is our theme again this year,” said Kathy Kane, TEF Executive Director. “We will be featuring the many student initiatives that the TEF has funded the past years as well as honoring on our next Wall of Fame inductees.” Futuristic attire is encouraged, and the group is planning for a Blast! for its guests.

The OUT OF THIS WORLD program will include futuristic fun, raffles, silent auction, and a family style dinner, and a recap program of last year’s grants. The Wall of Fame committee also will induct new members that evening as well.

Tickets are $50 a person or included with sponsorship packages (with sponsor seating) and tables of ten are encouraged. They are available at the School Board office and Trenton City Hall. Sponsorships are still available by calling Chair Kathy Kane (734) 365-0672.
