Happy June! I hope you all enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend. It was definitely better weather than this past weekend!
Today's program will be the presentation of our Jack Castignola scholarships to four very deserving candidates! We're also glad to have this past year's RYLA participants attending the meeting. Welcome to you all!
The Rotary theme for June is Fellowship. We have a few opportunities coming up this month, such as Rotary After Hours on June 3rd, the Installation Dinner on June 18th and the Christmas in July River Cruise on June 20th so please try and come to all of them and share some fellowship with our awesome group of Rotarians!
Tickets for the Christmas in July River Cruise on June 20th are going fast! Please make sure to sign up on the list going around at today's meeting to reserve your spot. The cruise departs from the Pier 500 in Wyandotte at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 per person and that includes pizza and music and a cruise down the Detroit River. Besides being a nice evening of fellowship, this event helps to fund expenses at the Roar on the River so please try and come out!
Hope to see you Wednesday evening at Rotary After Hours!
