Join us Monday at Noon to meet Mike Radke of Better Angels
Currently Michigan coordinator for Better Angels, Mike Radke is now retired following a successful career working with physicians in hospitals and certification agencies, the State Chamber of Commerce and the State Department of Education. In 2017 Mike recognized that political divisiveness was pulling apart friends, communities and our country. He found that the Better Angels organization was doing something important and effective to reduce stereotyping and polarization. Mike is making presentations to local Rotary clubs, communities of faith, colleges, and even political parties in Michigan inviting them to engage in this important work and discussion.

"The Ramblings of the Mad Hatter"
Hello Trenton Rotarians!
At last week's meeting, we had a vote on the proposed by-law changes. The vote will remain open for another few weeks, so if you were not at last week's meeting, please see Bill Jasman and me at the next meeting you attend so we can record your vote. We are a few voting members away from the quorum we need to count the vote.
On Thursday, several members attended the Grosse Ile and Monroe Rotary World Polio Day celebrations. I understand that both events were informative and fun. That same evening, Larry Kearney and I were invited to The Salvation Army recognition dinner. Our club received the 2018 Christmas Partner Award for our efforts in the bell ringing and Christmas shop. The Salvation Army truly appreciates our partnership in these endeavors. See Larry if you want to sign up for this year's bell ringing. More information on the Christmas shop will be forthcoming.
Sunday evening's hayride was canceled due to the weather. Although it was beautiful in the evening, the rain soaked all of the attractions which would have limited the fun at the venue.
Join us at Monday's meeting when Mike Radke of Better Angels explains how his group is working to end the divisiveness that is pulling our country apart. I look forward to seeing you there.I
