Scott Haveman has two daughters:--Natalie (17) will be a senior at Trenton High School--Kate (13) will be in 8th grade at Arthurs Middle School. Works on the Finance/Accounting team at Little Caesars as VP of Compliance. Been there 6 years, location is Detroit at the new Global Resource Center next to the Fox Theatre. Undergraduate degree in Accounting from Michigan State. MBA from UM-Dearborn. Outside of work, time is spent at the kids sporting events or playing golf. Before joining Rotary last year, I had the opportunity to work on various events since my dad was in Rotary:
--Boat Races, Salvation Army bell ringing, Packing bags to send to Central America
--I do have a Paul Harris award (sponsored by my dad)
--I have attended a couple of the Rotary conferences several years ago (Mackinaw, Chicago)

Trenton Rotary STEM Project for Goodfellows
Trenton Rotary delivered the bulk of Toys from Bill Jasman's house to Trenton City Hall. Goodfellow Debbie Devitt accepted the toys and put them into storage until December. These toys will hopefully get children interested in Science, Technology and Engineering and Mathematics.
A second phase will give similar toys to the Salvation Army for the Northern Downriver area.
Sky Diving for Polio
Over 20 people skydived for Polio on Saturday August 15th. The weather was warm but kind to the Sky Divers who enjoyed the thrill of a lifetime while raising money to fight Polio. With the two for one Match, DG Noel is hoping to net out $100,000 with the Gates 2-1 match. Please let your Bill Jasman know if you would like to make a donation to the Polio fund of the Rotary Foundation. Let's really shine and make Captain Rotary the true super hero.
