Riverview/Trenton Relay for Life - May 21

The Relay for Life of Riverview/Trenton was held at Young Patriot's Park on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10 am to midnight.

The opening ceremony featured the recognition of sponsors that included the Rotary Club of Trenton and the Survivor Lap.

Throughout the day walkers visited our site and walked the 1/3 mile path, Rotarians Ed Shenton, Rose Angela Gronda, Kathy Kane, Bill Jasman and Kyle Stack stopped to acknowledge the Rotary donation sign plus say HELLO to friends at the Faith UMC tent.

In the evening, there were over 500 luminary bags given in HONOR or in MEMORY of a person affected by CANCER lighted in a display anchored by HOPE.

This event raised approximately $35,000 for the education, advocacy and research efforts of the American Cancer Society.

We appreciate everyone who donated plus prayed and participated toward a cure for CANCER.
