Today we'll hear from our own Rick Williams who will tell us about his experience in franchising. Welcome, Rick!
Reading with Characters took place on Saturday and it was a wonderful event! Partnering with DYPAC, we had more than 20 adults and kids dressed in costumes and 85 kids in attendance! Several of our own Rotarians dressed as characters, including Paul Jocks as a pirate, Matt Hatty as Flat Stanley, Noel Jackson as Captain Rotary and Roy Vreeland as Spiderman! Thank you to Noel and Debbie Jackson and their crew from DYPAC for making this an easy event to assist them with! Thank you to Matt Hatty who chaired the event and took care of all the details. Thanks also to all the Rotarians and THS Interactors that came to help with set up and stayed to cover some part of the event. It was a great team effort and a lot of fun! Be sure to see the pictures from the event in this newsletter and in the slideshow at Monday's meeting, compliments of Bill Jasman and Ronnie Ruelle!
Congratulations to our newest Trenton Rotarians, Ruth Sebaly and Ray Yee, who were inducted last Monday. They were our newest members until today when we inducted our now newest member, Anita Twardesky! Thanks to Jean for inviting her to join. We're glad to have these new members in our club!
We're glad to hear that Kyle Stack is recovering well from her second and final knee surgery. It sounds like she's recovering well at home but ready to get back to her duties. We hope to see you soon, Kyle!
Bob Howey, President-Elect, will be attending President Elect Training this weekend in Kalamazoo. It's an enlightening weekend and when Bob comes back, I think we'll see him energized for the upcoming year. Time is going by fast and we'll have a new president before you know it!
Board members, please remember that we changed our March board meeting to Tuesday, March 24th. We'll have a night meeting at 6pm. I'm working on the location but will let you know soon!
