President’s Report for August 6th
Well it’s now time for me, as the Prez , to extend GREETINGs to y’all.
The Roar on the River is over and I’ve made through the Monday meeting OK. We had an enjoyable meeting at the Victory Gym, what an interesting Concept. We met Char Hanner, the chief volunteer, and presented her with a donation of $1000.
Our speaker for this meeting was Dan Marsh from the Downriver YMCA, also a member of the Rotary Club of Wyandotte, he told us about all of the programs the downriver “Y” has available.
I paid me money so I went out to the watch Captain Rotary Skydiving to End Polio Now. There were seven Rotarians jumping, and four were newbies. This very was interesting and an great fund raiser.
