Keith is resigning from Rotary and is going to be moving for health reasons. As sad as we are, we wish Keith the best and hope to be getting some more information so that we may keep in touch.

Secretary's Report:

We received a letter of resignation from Keith. We also received his new mailing address which Missy will share.

Presidents Report:

Rotary Picnic- Friday August 19th at the Osbrey's there will be food and beverages. Invitations are coming soon. 197 Grove St in Putnam. 5pm till whenever. Gary is hoping that this will be a super fun event that brings back the fun party times.

Woodstock Academy is ending as a corp. membership but Jonathan Sturdevant will be staying on.

New members are come on which is great.

We got our District Grant for the Music in the Park, $2875!

Pop Up Service Needs- Pluck a Duck needs help in the morning to set up from 8-10am and 3-5pm, Sunday August 21st.

Town of Thompson is putting together a litter league from September to November. Across there parks and such. They are making it a competition, the team with the most bags collected can win a prize. We can pick our times it's an easy way to help out Thompson.

Tackle the Trail- Looking to support this great cause. Looking for volunteers and there is a lot of flexibility in times.

Committee Reports:

Taylor Shea was going to be speaking today but had to miss because she was so successful with her shoe drive

Anniversary Party meeting today.

Diaper Drive for IHSP- Liz (chair) is looking for committee members.

Movie in the Park- September 30th Delpha is looking for members

Blood Drive- Looking for a chair and possibly looking to possibly combine with the PBA more details to come.

Memory Lane-

Doug Porter shared the he joined when Jason Howe was the President and it was during his 2nd or 3rd week put him in charge of the Vocational Service Award Night. It was a good event. And not at the trailer. He feels that it is super important to get folks involved right away to get to know what Rotary does.

First drawing went to Scott Pempek and the $10 went to the Directors Fund. Scott did not draw the 5 of spades.

that his daughter went to running camp and had a great time!

Rachel had her niece and her husband stay at Hotel Johnston for a week and had a great visit

Scott Pempek's Oldest daughter Kristen is doing a full marathon, very impressive.

Madeleine- had a great weekend in Maine and also went the Virginia Beach.

Barry Shead- July 23rd did a trail run and finished behind a girl that had a compression cast on her leg. This year wanted to do better.. Missed a turn and ended up coming in dead last.

Delpha- Wanted to introduce Barry to her personal trainer. Maybe that will help.

Also she wanted to let everyone know that there will be a ribbon cutting for Main Street Gelato on this First Friday at 5:30.

Ron Coderre- Ron called Keith Aubin and had a good chat. He knows that Keith will enjoy being invited to the picnic, it will be good for his spirits.

Amanda- Tracy and Jen to join as official members.

Also appreciation for the camp-a-thon support, they raised about $11K!

Really happy that Gary was able to join the event regardless of the technical trouble.

Missy- Happy that she is NOT doing a marathon. The last time she did a Half marathon it was 98 degrees and not any fun. So happy that she is not doing a marathon.

John Miller- One happy dollar to welcome Seth.

Dick- 360 days away from Medicare and he had a great vacation at the cape!

Jen Brytowski-She went for a lovely walk, she and her 2 daughters were going to walk around the Thompson Dam, they were 3 and 5, half way around the girls were done. Jen had to carry both the rest of the way.
