Secretary's Report: Kathy has a lot of mail to go through after being on vacation.
Committee Reports:
2/20 Tickets: Please work on selling your remaining tickets and return ticket stubs and Monday to Karen no later than Monday, 11/18 since the drawing is at our 11/19 meeting.
Karen: Installation of musical instruments took place on Monday, 11/11. Thank you to all of the Rotarians that helped with digging and the installation.
Holiday Party: Linda announced that the Holiday Party will take place on Thursday, December 12th at the Inn at Woodstock Hill. There will be passed hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.
Rotary Exchange: Kathy Neumann said that Shiho will be visiting and is looking for a place to stay from Jan. 25-29th. Please contact Kathy if interested in hosting.
Interact: Will be making holiday ornaments. June and Sophia will be going to Boston Children's hospital with toys that the Interact club has purchased through fundraisers. Bell ringing will be starting and Roberta is looking for volunteers to assist. Sophia has put together an Interact Team for the Turkey Dip at Camp Quinebaug and is looking for pledges from Rotarians and others.
Holiday Giving: Rachel is looking for board games (all ages, family) to be donated towards the Annual Holiday Giving Appeal. Benefactors of the appeal will be TEEG, Putnam Family Resource Center and United Services clients this year. Please bring board games to next meetings - Deadline Dec. 10th.

For today's program, our guest, Jean Lafountaine spoke for our Veteran's Day recognition. He has resided all his life in North Grosvenordale, is a Vietnam Veteran and held various positions in the American Legion.
Raffle and cookies
Raffle is up to $80. The new card is the 6 of Diamonds. Charlie's number was picked but he did not win. $10 donated to Archambault Fund.

Happy Dollars:
Jonathan started with a dollar for our newest member, Dave, he also thanked the veteran's for their service and a dollar in memory of his father-in-law's passing 16 years ago.
Tonya's is happy that her birthday is Thursday
Roberta is happy that she had a wonderful trip to Italy and gave $1 for an announcement about American Legion Celebrity Bartender Night on Thursday from 5 to 9 at Marley's Pub at the Black Dog
Marc is happy that he went to Newport with his daughter and son-in-law for a wedding and he watched the baby.
Martha was really happy...for spending 10 days in Italy, for watching the kids and dogs while her daughter is in Aruba, for Tim's birthday, for going to an Iron Maiden concert and for her granddaughter's cheer team winning 2nd place and going to FL to compete.
Karen was happy for the re-dedication of Veteran's Park on Sunday.
Dick is happy for going to an Italian restaurant in Chicago, where he went to see a football game.
Jay lost is youngest brother this past week but is happy for his 2nd annual trip to New Hampshire with the grand daughters.
Pam went to the re-dedication of Veteran's Park, that was solemn and very beautiful and also attended the QVCC Veteran's Services.
Barry's dad, a Navy Veteran died 6 years ago today and was happy to go to Aileen Witkowski's 90th Birthday Party.
Doug thanked all of the veterans and was happy to have the privilege to speak in front of the Builder's Association.
