Thank you from ShelterBox USA for our $1000 donation. Our donation means that ShelterBox can stay prepared for upcoming disasters, allowing them to pre-position equipment in or near countries where they respond. Our generosity has earned our club a HERO award!

Presidents Report:
A Big Shout out to Doug and Gail Porter! They will be hosting the annual picnic this year. It will be held on Friday, August 25. There will be a gaga pit, slip-n-slides and sprinklers for the kids.
Membership: Looking to have all members sign up for either the Recruitment Committee or the Retention Committee. Sign-up sheet was passed around once again with hopes of 100% participation.
Next meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 8th.
Committee Reports:
Roberta reported that Interact is helping TEEG with their backpack drive. They are collecting backpacks from now until Aug. 14 (if you want to donate, drop off is at HaleY) and on Aug. 19th Interact will be helping students to pick out and fill their backpacks at TEEG.
Joe reported that at the Foundation meeting regarding finances, there are over $630,000 in assets. There were donations made to the Beaulac and Archambault scholarship funds. Suggestion at meeting was made to send notes regarding the memorials to those who have sent signification outside donations.
Woody wanted to send out his appreciation to the kids that have been helping him with the gardens at Rotary Park. They have been a big help.
Programs-
Andy Morrison presented today on "Implicit Bias." Implicit Bias is our subconscious attitudes and beliefs related to race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability and other characteristics. Implicit Bias does not always reflect a person's conscious values but it can negatively affect individual and organizational decision making. He talked about examples and how it impacts employees and how to eliminate opportunities for biases to influence decision making.
