Rotary Day of Service - Will be this Saturday, May 18th at Rotary Park from 9 am to 12 noon. We received a $500 grant from the Last Green Valley for pollinator plants. Bring your rakes, shovels and work gloves. A picnic lunch will be served at noon.
Golf Committee: Next week will be the last committee meeting before the tournament. We are in desperate need of Raffle Prizes. Please bring donation items to Shawn at the Hometown Bank in Putnam or to our Club Meeting next week. Looking for gift certificates, bottles of liquor, golf balls, etc. Shawn was also looking for pop-up tents but Rotary members were able to fulfill this request. There was a sign-up sheet passed around for volunteers to help on the day of the tournament.
Interact Club - Roberta announced Dine For A Cause at Nikki's Dog House on Sunday, June 2 from 11-4. Nikki's will be donating 15% of proceeds during those hours to Relay for Life.
Tuesday, May 28th will be the Interact Induction held at the YMCA. All are welcome to attend.
Fishing Derby - Doug thanked the sponsors and all the Rotarians and Interact students who helped out on Saturday. Approx. 40 kids and their families were in attendance.
Paul Harris Committee - The committee met last week and will make presentations at Induction Night which is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th at the Inn.
2/20 Raffle - Karen happily announced that we sold 685 tickets for a total of $13700. Minus prizes and expenses, we netted $9390 and with Kathleen's "give back" total was $10390.
Putnam Rotary Foundation - met on April 18th. Joseph A. said that they are setting a date with Weiss, Hale and Zahansky to review financials up to March 31, 2024. Joseph also went over the total balances of scholarships.
