Thank you received from Lennon Favreau, recipient of the John Reardon Service Award and the Raymond and Violet Brousseau Memorial Scholarship.
We received an invitation to Heritage Valley Ford's Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Sept. 16 from 10a-2p at 455 Providence Road in Brooklyn.

Picnic Committee - Would like to get the picnic committee together to plan for the annual picnic in August. Anyone interested in hosting or suggestions for new location, please contact Amanda.
Membership: Looking to have all members sign up for either the Recruitment Committee or the Retention Committee. Sign-up sheet was passed around. Planning to meet in Aug. Karen is the chair for the recruitment and we are in need of chair for retention.
For those that didn't know, Madeline had her baby last week. We send a card and cookies to her family.
No meeting next week. Next meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 1st.

Roberta Rocchetti presented Jordyn Butler with the John Reardon Award.
Eric Levesque and Jordyn Butler shared about their experience at the World Affairs Seminar in Wisconsin. Theme was Climate Change, with guest speakers talking about factors currently influencing climate change including clothing and scrap metal waste, restoring environmental ecosystems and providing solar energy sources to underdeveloped countries.

Rachel Johnston's ticket won the $10 and she did not pull the 3 of spades. Her $10 went to the John O'Brien Scholarship. Kristen Willis won the cookies!

Barry was happy that he visited Maine. And also that Richard substituted for his substitute Scott while he was away.
Roberta was happy for her two guests today.
Scott was happy to help move his youngest daughter into UNC and that his oldest daughter got married in Newport with a little sunshine peaking through the cloudy and rainy skies.
Amanda was happy that a young lady on the Hale Y swim team qualified and is going to the National Y meet with her coach.
Doug was happy for his ride to Logan airport to pick up his grandchildren
Bob was happy that Ian (his guest) is considering becoming a member.
Kathy is happy that "Almost Cher" from the Town of Putnam's show this weekend, stayed at her hotel.
