Interact Club: Relay for Life Interact Clothing Drive. Collecting gently used clothes, linens, belts, curtains and shoes. You can bring items in a 13 gallon garbage bag to Rotary or to Roberta's house, just please call/email her first if bringing items to her residence. (860.933.8603, robertarocchetti4@gmail.com). Citco Gas by Walmart and WINY are also accepting donations. Last day for drop off is Friday, April 26th.
The Club is also raising money selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on Saturday, March 16th at Citgo in Pomfret, WINY in Putnam and Citgo in Putnam by Walmart from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at only $15 per dozen of glazed donuts. To preorder call 860.933.8603 by March 12th
Interact is also participating in an international project to buy a $3,000 solar suitcase which will provide electricity for clinics and schools. See Roberta for more information.
All Star Basketball Game: It's our 14th year with this event. It's boys and girls basketball. If anyone wants to help out at either the 5:30 or 7:00 game, greeting and helping at the door, please see Jonathan Tremblay.
Orientation Meeting: Brief meeting today after the Club meeting.
Scholarship Committee: If you know someone that wants to apply for scholarships, you can go to the website and apply.
Golf Committee: This will be on June 2nd. Letters will be going out in a week for information/donations. They are in need of T Sponsors. T Sponsors can be made in memory of someone, as well as advertising your business or other charities/events.
Amanda will send out an email that lists all the different committees, events and dates. The Club likes members to be a part of two committees.
