A Thank you note was received from TEEG for our dontation to the Holiday Giving Program.
Presidents Report:
Thankyou for everyone that participated in the Club Assembly. The Board will meet next week and go over the topics and votes from that meeting and then bring the results to the Club.
Feedback from last week's assembly - The meetings agenda will change somewhat - we will be limiting which committee reports go before our program in the meetings to allow those members that have to leave early the opportunity to do so. Amanda was happy about the results from the recruitment committees' social last week. We have about 10 prospective rotarians.
Committee Reports:
INTERACT-Roberta is selling daffodils, tulips and mini daffodils until Friday, February 9th to benefit the American Cancer Society. Roberta also reported that Rotaract is making valentine cards for those shut in.
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE - Rachael reported that going forward children and grandchildren of Rotarians can now be eligible for scholarships. The applications will change to blind applications to facilitate this new ruling.
Programs-
Martha Beckwith and John Rauh presented today, showing a video on Roseland Park and providing us information on the Roseland Park Legacy Campaign, They are looking to raise $500,000 over a three year period for improvements in the park and golf course.
Martha Beckwith won the raffle but did not pull the winning card. She donated to the Archambault Scholarship Fund.
And she also won won the delicious Arc cookies!!!
