Edward Sembor, associate dean of experiencial learning, was the speaker at a recent Putnam Rotary Club meeting. He spoke about Marianapolis's three-year-old The New Centers of Excellence Program. The curricular focus is business and entrepreneurship, civic engagement and service, and technology and innovation. Students earn a certificate in one of the COE focus areas and that will help distinguish their achievements and enhance their profile for college placement, he said.
