The Putnam Rotary Club’s Interact Club is once again collecting backpack and school supplies for TEEG. Donations can be dropped off the YMCA in Putnam until Aug. 13 or you can drop off the supplies directly to TEEG at 15 Thatcher St., N. Grosvenordale.
The Putnam Rotary Interact Club is a regional club for students 12 -18 from the towns of Eastford, Pomfret, Woodstock, Putnam and Thompson. The focus is “Service Above Self.”
The Interact Club meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from September through May. The first meeting for the 2026-2027 year is at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Putnam Library at 200 School St.
