On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, history was made when 20 members were inducted into the new Rotary Satellite Club of Parker - Cherry Creek Valley United. The Ceremony was conducted by the Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club past president, Josh Rivero. This is the first Rotary Club to be geared towards individuals with special needs. Cheryl O'Brien talked about the importance of being a Rotarian while District 5450 Governor Bob Kemp addressed the group and welcomed the members to Rotary. Kam Breitenbach has been the advisor for this group for the past ten years while they were a Rotary Community Corps. Current CCVRotary President, John Brokken, welcomed the new members.
