Jan 18 - Creating a Leadership Legacy with John Ramstead

 

We had a packed house today to hear John Ramstead, a certified Leadership Coach, who delivered a powerful talk about connecting with our passions to live a life "that outlives our life."  As a combat fighter pilot who was selected to attend Top Gun, he had us  the edge of our seats detailing a typical day at the office - landing his F-14 on a carrier deck!  However, his greatest triumph, and biggest life lesson came with a near-fatal accident that had him under hospital care for two years.  During his recovery time, he sought clarity on what is truly important in life.  He shared his journey to help us connect with our own legacy.  He reminded us that "everyday is a second chance."  

 

Kevin delivered an inspirational moment that highlighted the fun and success we've had with Brewfest - $45,000 raised to allow us to serve our community.  WOW!  We also had an opportunity to elect our 2017-2018 board.  Congratulations and thank you to those who are serving on our board!
