Dear Fellow Rotarians,

We have just concluded the membership development and extension month. It is time to reflect and ask ourselves what Have you invited a guest to the club during this month?

  • Have you made any effort to further your Rotary knowledge?
  • Have you actively participated in activities organized by the club and those by other clubs within your reach?
  • What have done regarding developing and extending Rotary beyond our club?

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

We have just concluded the membership development and extension month. It is time to reflect and ask ourselves what Have you invited a guest to the club during this month?

  • Have you made any effort to further your Rotary knowledge?
  • Have you actively participated in activities organized by the club and those by other clubs within your reach?
  • What have done regarding developing and extending Rotary beyond our club?

These are questions to continue pondering about, throughout your life as a Rotarian. On that note, I want to thank the Rotarians who have actively participated in the club fellowships, committee meetings, service projects, and particularly I want to thank all those who participated in the Cancer run.

In a special way I want to appreciate, the members of the club who made it to the movie fellowship, which was dedicated to the “Future Diva “Jovita who has a kidney problem. Special thanks to all those who invited guests, publicized the movie, you did a good job.  This kick-started the fundraising drive for this little girl and we plan to take it to another level to ensure that this girl realizes her dream of being a pediatrician.

Back to this month, September is the New Generations Month. This month is dedicated to our young generation and to celebrate this month, we shall be having joint fellowships with our Rotaract Club, Kampala the CORE. We plan to have professional/vocational talks and also participate in their community projects.

I call upon all of us this month to bond with our young generation. Let’s visit as many Rotaract and interact clubs as possible but also participate in their community projects as we continue to engage rotary and change the lives of the less privileged members of our community.

Totally involved,

Florence Lunkuse-Lwanga
