AT THE GONG
President Jeanne Friedel called the meeting to order.  Wayka led the group in the pledge of allegiance and read two quotes for the day, both talking about sharing wealth and giving back.
During the member moment, Wayka described how she grew up in various parts of the world.
 
VISITORS
Visiting Rotarians were Jack Strange from Santa Rosa and member of Interact
Guest of President Friedel was Nancy Freedell / Community Engagement Officer/ Sunny Hills Services.
 
WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE CLUB
June 19 Food delivery
June 14 is bowling night at 5:30 in San Rafael. 
June 25 at 5:00-9:00  meeting at the  Mission Rock resort in San Francisco (SMA) which is a new club.  
July 30 from 5:30-8:00 pm at the Bay Model in Sausalito Celebrating Women in Rotary.
July 7th is the scheduled Installation event at the Wild Fox.
 
CELEBRATIONS
Both Lee Page and Wally Chipman celebrated 57 years of marriage.  Wayka trailed them with 34 years.
Marty Malkin is going to Washington D.C. on Monday.  He also reported on the recent graduation and scholarship presentation at Terra Linda High.
 
MARBLE AND RAFFLE
Lee won the marble and Brian won the bottle of Malbec.
 
SPEAKER
Speaker Gary Alt presented an awe-inspiring presentation on the Grey Wolf and the state of Yellowstone National Park .  The impact on the eco system that the extinction of the wolf has had is astounding.  In order to protect the elk population for hunting purposes and other reasons,  the elimination of the wolf lasted for 70 years.  It resulted in altered rivers, fish and other animals, trees and vegetation as well as  a change in the behavior of other animals including the Elk.  Luckily, the return of the grey wolf brought back the eco system as scientists realized the correlation between the wolf and the elk.

Update Your Profile...

Make sure that you update your profile on the new website. We will be using this tool to keep track of what is going on in the Club and info about Club Members. To change your info click on the Member Area tag in the upper right of the Home Page then
enter your ID and password as follows:
 
User ID: firstinitiallastname6052
Password: firstintiallastname
 
Example: Jeff Moss= jmoss6052 and jmoss
 
Once you are in go to the box on the left titled MyClubRunner, click on "Edit My Profile".
 
FIRST THING click on the Setting tab and change your id and password to what you want. Click edit for the ID and to change your password try clicking the "Change Password" link on the right side of the screen (note that in order to do either you need to remember your current password, which is your first initial and last name without spaces). Whenever you log into the site in the future click Login and enter the new ID and PW. Click on Save.
 
Now you can add to, correct or limit the info provided. We need at a minimum the items in red and the info under "Gender" so we can track when you REALLY have birthdays, etc. Those of you in business will want to list your website and have a link on your site to this one for exposures' sake.
