At the Gong:
Lame duck President Randy got his last meeting underway at 12:15 P.M.  The pledge was led by this writer as well as the invocation where words of wisdom were passed on from both Mahatma Gandhi and Maya Angelou.
Visiting Rotarians and Guests:
Our lone guest, Ray Moore, is the recent husband of our guest speaker, Melissa Prandi from the Mission San Rafael Rotary Club.
What Is Going On In Our Club—LOTS:
On June 8th Dave Devlin will be presenting monetary awards to the top three students’ business projects from the School of Environmental Leadership at TLHS.
Our June 19th meeting will be President Randy’s “debunking”—don’t miss it!
June 22nd our own Laurel Botsford will be presiding over a luncheon at Margaret Todd Senior Center in Novato from 11:45 A.M. -1:30 P.M.  speaking about “Sex Trafficking”.  Call Laurel at 819-0417 for details.
On June 24th at 1:30 P.M. at the Log Cabin in San Anselmo, Care Packages will be packed to send to our Military Troops.  Call Jeanne F. for details and what you can contribute.  Call Jeanne @441-1776.
On June 29th our new president, John Zeiter, will be installed following a great dinner at the Marin Golf and Country Club in Novato.
Two of our members are on the Medical Get-Well Watch and would appreciate hearing from you at any time.  Call Harold Lustig @341-6700 and Stephanie Thompson@203-1814 and say hello.
Special Moments:
Eight college scholarships given by our Club to TLHS well-deserving Seniors were awarded by Marty Malkin at a recent Awards Ceremony.
On June 3rd at a special Rotary Foundation Award Ceremony Fan Tan, Randy and Brian M. were recognized for their fantastic, monetary contributions to Rotary.
Our Club received lots of Thank You notes from St. Isabella School students for our help with their Interact Club.
And, out-going president, Randy, recognized all of the members on his Board of Directors for their time and dedication in making his year so enjoyable.
Wally had the winning ticket for the “unknown” raffle prize, which will be given to him at a later date.
Christine drew one of the many green marbles—no prize but the future red marble is still in the box!
Program Summary:
Melissa Prandi from the Mission San Rafael Rotary Club and our District Membership Chair, gave a visual and verbal presentation on our Club’s annual Health Check.  How is our Club doing as far as membership, activities, community and world service, etc?  As substantiated by many awards, our Club is doing well—but could still do better.  The first analysis is that our Club is healthy—but could be healthier!
Respectfully submitted,
