YE - Inbound Overnight in Hershey

Welcome Rotary Exchange Students from District 7390 (South Central PA) and District 7620 (Washington, D.C.),

Following is information regarding your October 28-29, 2023, Inbound Weekend Retreat! Click here to register for the overnight event! You will need to click on the "guest" tab to register UNLESS you are a Rotarian!

• Please wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes, based on the weather report.  
• Bring Sleeping Bag & Pillow
• Duffle bag (rather than a suitcase) 
• Tooth-brush kit
• One change of clothes for Sunday
• Halloween Costume - Note:  Halloween Costume should take no more than 30 min. to put on, and should be comfortable and safe for walking/riding at "Hershey Park in the Dark"!
• Jacket or Raincoat
• Appropriate Sibling-Friendly (non-revealing) Sleepwear
• Pack light & be free!  (Space is limited)

Saturday, October 28

• 10am - 11am   Hosts/Drivers:  Please park in parking lot, in front of house & join us for Refreshments before returning home! Location:  Paul & Maria Thompson’s (Downtown Hershey House - 50 W. Caracas Ave., Hershey, PA 17033) 717-329-6026
• 11:15am -12:15pm      Hershey Fire Dept. Tour & Survival Skills
• 12:30pm - 1:45pm       Host Lunch at 50 W. Caracas Ave. 
• 2pm - 3pm                   Hershey Story Museum & Chocolate Tasting
• 3pm - 4pm                   Pumpkin Carving & Corn Hole Team Competitions
• 4pm - 4:30pm              Halloween Costume Time!
• 4:30pm - 5:30pm         Costume Parade & Pizza Buffet with Guest Rotarians!
• 5:30pm - 10pm           Depart for Hershey Park in the Dark!
• 10:15pm -10:45pm      Return for Host Bedtime Snacks
• 10:45pm - 11pm          Wash up / Bedtime / Lights Out!

Sunday, October 29

• 8am                             Wake Up / Clean Up /  Pack Up
• 8:30am - 9:30am         Breakfast Time!
• 10am to 11am             Milton S. Hershey History, Driving Tour with Photo Stops!
• 11am to 12pm             Weekend Wrap Up & Thank You Notes (Stationary Provided)
• 12pm - 12:30pm          Pick Up Time & Fond Farewells, Until Next Time

All events and menu items are subject to change, with the exception of arrival and pick-up times/dates.

All Counselors, Youth Exchange Committee Members, and District Leaders are welcome to attend any/all activities ~ please RSVP By OCT. 15, so we have time to get  Tickets, Food, etc.
