The Rotary Club of West Springfield’s NovemberFest, takes place Friday, November 8 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Springfield Country Club. The evening will include a microbrew and wine tasting, music, hors d’oeuvres, a live auction with two vacation getaways and a silent auction. More than $12,000 worth of prizes have been donated for the auctions and raffles. The event is the Club’s second largest fundraiser. 

Opa Opa Brewing Company, Berkshire Brewing Company, Bertelli’s Liquor Mart and High Horse Brewing will bring a variety of microbrews and wines for guests to sample. The theme will be “All That Jazz” and music will be provided by “Interplay” Jazz Band.

Tickets to the event are $30 in advance and include beer, wine, food and music. The live auction includes a vacation home in Sarasota, Florida, a two night stay at the Eastern Slope Inn Resort or Attitash Mountain Village in North Conway, New Hampshire, catered party for 75 people at Shakago’s Martini and Piano Bar and a Big E Parking and Fun package which includes a premier parking spot for the whole run of the Fair directly across from Gates 4 and 5.

There are more than 100 silent auction items including gift baskets, restaurant gift certificates, jewelry, home décor, professional services, tickets to area attractions and events, and much more.

 

Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win two seats to the New England Patriots/Buffalo Bills game scheduled for December 29 (Section 132, Row 30, Seats 21 & 22) including an overnight stay at the Hampton Inn in Franklin, Mass., Dec. 29, as well as cash prizes. There is also a raffle for “Buckets of Booze.”

In-Kind donations have been made by North East Insurance Planning, Inc.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Rotary’s community service projects and humanitarian efforts. Contributions or gifts to the Rotary Club of West Springfield are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.
