The Importance of Giving Blood

Dr. Tim Peterson is the Medical Director of The Blood Center, the Medical Director of LifeShare Blood Center, and the Medical Director of the Blood Bank at East Jefferson General Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine.
Tim became a licensed medical doctor in Louisiana in 1990. He is also licensed in Mississippi and is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and by the American Board of Pathology in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
Tim is speaking to us on 30 April 2025 in conjunction with the blood drive occurring at NOCHI (organized by Kelleigh Payne) on the second floor (1130am-4pm). It is not necessary to sign up in advance. |
