DESCRIPTION:RE(ad) TREAT is an alliance of multiple justice-minded organiza
 tions in New Orleans committed to hosting a nomadic library for young peop
 le as they discover a love of reading while growing their imaginations\, 
  flourishing emotionally\, strengthening their communities\, and practicin
 g financial literacy.   Volunteers will read books with children\, suppo
 rt with reading assessments\, checking children in\, and at the Reading Re
 wards station. Youth are partnered with Adult Volunteers so youth can read
  books and complete a summary of the book digitally.   Youth earn “Ch
 a-Ching Coins” for each book they complete and redeem or save their "Cha
 -Ching Coins" for incentives.
