DESCRIPTION:Volunteer opportunity to help Sound the Alarm. Save a Life – 
 American Red Cross Our New Orleans Rotary is partnering with the American 
 Red Cross and other volunteer groups across our city who have committed to
  making our New Orleans neighbors safer from home fires.  At 10am on May 
 12th\, in the Irish Channel\, volunteers will join Red Cross in canvassing
  neighborhoods\, install smoke alarms\, and create family escape plans.  
  Event details are below.  We hope you will come out and join our club m
 embership to support this life saving effort. When: May 12th (10am-1pm) Wh
