DESCRIPTION:RE(ad) TREAT is an alliance of multiple justice-minded organiza
 tions in New Orleans committed to hosting a nomadic library for young peop
 le as they discover a love of reading while growing their imaginations\, 
  flourishing emotionally\, strengthening their communities\, and practicin
 g financial literacy.  The event will be held on June 19th at the Beaure
 gard-Keyes  (BK) House in the Quarter at 1113 Chartres Street\, New Orlea
 ns\, LA.  From 11:30 am – 1:30 pm Volunteers will read books with child
 ren\, support with reading assessments\, checking children in\, and at the
  Reading Rewards station.  Volunteers can support with set-up at 10:30am 
 or tear-down at 1:30pm.  Youth are partnered with Adult Volunteers so you
 th can read books and complete a summary of the book digitally.   Youth 
 earn “Cha-Ching Coins” for each book they complete and redeem or save 
 their "Cha-Ching Coins" for incentives.
