DESCRIPTION:During the months of April and May (specifically April 8th – 
 May 8rd) American Red Cross of Louisiana will hosts a virtual educational 
 program across the city of New Orleans in attempt to telephone more than 1
 000 families in high fire risk neighborhoods and teach residents fire safe
 ty and hurricane preparedness.  The New Orleans Fire Department will inst
 all free smoke alarms to residents in need of alarms.  The Rotary Club of
  New Orleans is scheduled for 2 shifts on Friday\, April 30th from 10 am -
  1:00 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm to make phone calls.  All volunteers are require
 d to complete Red Cross training for this event through Pre-recorded Train
 ing or Script Training prior to April 30th.
