30 Ladner Rotarians and guests raised about $1,000 for the remote village of Ban Xiengda Water Project in Laos, at the Parallel 49 Tasting and Famoso Neopolitan Pizzeria fund-raiser in South Surrey on August 20, 2017.
With a duet singing popular songs, five different craft beers were served, paired with appetizers, pizza main dishes and a dessert, all included in the $25 registration. Neighbouring Rotary District 5050's Governor Lindagene Coyle, who lives in South Surrey, was welcomed as a special guest, with her granddaughter.
