Windset sponors splash park
The Ladner Rotary Splash Park, opening this summer, can provide more for children and families at the site, thanks to a generous donation of $5,000 from Windset Greenhouse Grown Foods. Windset is one of the local greenhouse producers which have contributed to the splash park project along with the rest of the local farming community.

Children, families and teachers can win with education review  
"No child left behind" is the underlying value of a report which the Nova Scotia Premier and Minister of Education recently received, on the first review of the province's education system in 20 years, from Dr. Avis Glaze, of Edu-quest International Inc., a Rotary Club of Ladner member. Dr. Glaze suggests that our future is at stake in educating our children: a child who does not leave their school by the "front door" in receiving a quality education could well enter it by the "back door" in a life of little hope and crime.
