Water park and youth leadership awards boosted by calendar sales

Linda Cran and Lynn Cameron take over the final shift of calendar sales from Arthur Birk and Peter Roaf on December 12.
 
The final shift of calendar sales on December 12, 2015 added $420 to the proceeds, along with sales at various club and organization meetings and on a shared basis through Delta Life Skills and a Ladner Parents Advisory Committee for a net total of approximately $21,000. 100% of proceeds from the calendar sales will go the proposed new water park in Memorial Park in Ladner and to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. Our $1,000 winner for the special December 25, 2015 draw, among the 63 lottery calendar prize draws throughout the year Sam DaSilva accepts a cheque from project leader, Lynn Cameron, for $2,330 on behalf of Delta Life Skills, for their 50% share in selling calendars.
