For their generosity in giving to The Rotary Foundation over many years, taking them to the Foundation's Major Donor level Two, Past District Governor Leo Nimsick and Ladner Rotary President Nominee Diana Nimsick have received special recognition by The Rotary Foundation at a Rotary Club of Ladner meeting.

Leo and Diana Nimsick each received a two-diamond Major Donor pin in addition to the

Past District Governor Chris Offer, a fellow club member who is also Chair, of The Rotary Foundation's Peace – Major Gifts Initiative Committee, thanked Diana and Leo for their support of the Foundation and their generosity and presented an engraved crystal on behalf of The Foundation’s Trustees.
 
President Kerry-Lynne Findlay presented Diana and Leo with distinctive, two-diamond major donor pins. She thanked Diana and Leo for their many years of generous support for The Rotary Foundation.
 
In recognizing Leo and Diana, Chris Offer says, “You give to others not knowing their stories, their faces, or even their names. In doing so you demonstrate, through your generous act, that all fellow human beings are worthy of our compassion. Major Donors change the lives of children, young people, adults, communities, and the world to which we all belong.”
