By 2020 over 20% of Canada’s population are projected to have a disability.  At the same time the Conference Board of Canada predicts that the national workforce supply will fall short of one million needed positions. Businesses can enhance their understanding of disability to increase market share and meet future labour needs. Rotary at Work BC, a partnership between Rotary and Community Living BC, Inclusion BC and Vancouver Foundation, is creating employment opportunities for people who have a disability.
The goal of Rotary at Work BC is to help people with a disability find meaningful work: a real job with real pay, commensurate for the position.
