Remote Philippine island to receive medical, equipment

Living on a remote island in the Philippines, the mother of Ladner Rotarian Alfedo Goco suffered an injury and had to travel a long distance to receive medical treatment. To help provide medical services to residents, used medical equipment is now making its way by shipping container to a clinic on the island. Ladner Rotarians Bridget Jacob and President Walt Hayward prepare a box of equipment for shipping.
Alfredo's home Rotary Club of Ladner and other clubs through the Rotary World Help Network in the Vancouver area, have sponsored the shipment.
