Karen Stacey, herself a liver transplant recipient, spoke to Ladner Rotary about the Happy Liver Society of BC which provides accommodation for the exclusive use of post-operative liver patients and their family members who must travel to Vancouver for treatment of their liver disease.
The Society provides for a modest fee a one bedroom apartment that will sleep up to six people.
