Leadership, team work, communication and membership development were key areas of discussion at the first in a series of Rotary District 5040 Assemblies prior to the District Conference in Whistler, BC, April 28 to May 1, 2016. Under the leadership of incoming District Director 2016-17 Lyn Stroshin, Assistant Governor Bala Naidoo and Past District Governor (PDG), District Training Chair and Ladner Rotarian Penny Offer, and several other presenters including PDG and Ladner Rotarian Chris Offer, more than 50 Rotarians gathered in Richmond on March 19, 2016 to plan the next Rotary year. The overwhelming conclusion the day was a success. www.Rotary5040.org
