In a greenhouse complex that once grew a variety of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers over 25 years, in the Ladner community of Delta, now stands the high-tech Pure Sunfarms greenhouse for cannabis cultivation. The original greenhouse was transformed in 2017 to state-of-the art technology that supports the pure and precise conditions required for cannabis cultivation. The vast greenhouse space is subdivided into as many as 16 individually controlled grow rooms, supporting at any one time more than 248,000 plants at every stage of growth.

The cycle starts with select "mother" plants living
a rather "resort-like" existence for optimum quality
Clippings from the mother plants are taken from
a special liquid solution and planted in cubes of
a special growth medium

The Pure Sunfarms cultivation team, of experienced cannabis growers and greenhouse experts, with historical environmental data gathered for more than a decade, reacts to changes in the environment in a sensitive, agile manner with the seasons and other conditions to maintain a consistent, quality supply year-in-and-year-out.
