The Future of Your Club Matters!!

Join us as we share time with Tracey Vavrek, Zones 28 Innovative Club Advocate, where she will explore ways to energize our club and have an in-depth look at creative ways to make our club more dynamic and engaging, setting it up for new growth and action!  Tracey will be joined by Bala Naidoo, Zone 28 Membership Coordinator. This is our opportunity to reflect on the future of the Rotary Club of Ladner and ask Tracey and Bala the questions important to you.

Tracey Vavrek joined Rotary in 2006, having been a past president of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Sunrise, and currently, an active member of the Rotary Club of Calgary Heritage Park. She served as 2019-20 district governor for District 5370 and not only promoting community involvement, volunteerism, and service above self but truly living it.

In 2012, she was fortunate to be one of the drivers for the Highway to Mexico project, delivering buses, emergency vehicles, and firefighting equipment to Mazatlan, Mexico, was a life-changing experience according to her.

Tracey had served as CEO of the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta for over 19 years before joining Community Foundations of Canada as Director, Learning, and Engagement.

Bala is an Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Rotary Zone 28. He is a Past District Governor District 5040, 2019-2020, and is a member of the District 5040 Strategic Planning Committee.

Bala is a Senior Financial Consultant, IG Wealth Management. 

Bala is married to Vasi Naidoo with 3 children and 1 granddaughter and lives in White Rock B.C. Bala and Vasi are members of The Rotary Foundation Arch Klumph Society.
