Weekend Family Peer Support Group Summer PIcnic

Sunday August 15 from 11 am to 2 pm, volunteer to help at Rotary Park in Delta with hosting the Summer Picnic for the Weekend & Family Peer Support Group (same group of "disabled adults & their families" that we do the Christmas Party each year).  

This year will be different than previous years and we may need more volunteer help than usual.  

The current Fire Rating in Delta has been raised to Extreme and we are not allowed to BBQ in the park this year.

Covid compliant plans are just being developed and more information will be available later this week.

We are going to need help setting up tables, help with food prep area, plating and serving individual meals, clean up and knock down of tables, etc at the end.

We pack up 2 - 2:30 pm.

You will also get to enjoy a picnic lunch with the other volunteers.  Please bring your own lawn chair.  Park right at Municipal Hall & we will be setting up at Rotary Park just on the east side of the parking lot. 

We are also collecting sundries for the members of this group.  If you are able to help with donations: Bring to Rotary meeting on Tuesday August 10 if you can donate or phone Mike if you need your donation picked up or you can bring to the event on Sunday August 15

We will need to get the firm number of volunteers so we have enough food ordered.  2019 was the last time our club held this event and we had 24 Guests and 11 Rotary Volunteers.
