Festive Lights installation at Delta Hospital

Hello all, there is a very special volunteer opportunity that has come up to spread holiday cheer at the Delta Hospital! We’ve been asked to put up Christmas lights at the hospital to brighten up the nights for those people who are visiting, working and being treated at the hospital. It’s something simple, but will make a special impact for the people who need it the most at this trying time.  When: Set up on Saturday December 5th 1-4pm. Takedown on Sunday January 17th 1-4pm. If you would like to help on either day, please register here. Please note that we worked closely with a Registered Nurse to ensure our plan is COVID friendly. Everyone will be working independently, in masks, and social distancing.

A Covid-19 plan has been developed by the staff RN from Pure Sun & approved by Delta Hospital

• It is simple, follow the current regulations.
• Everyone must wear masks and wash hands before and after hanging lights
• 6ft / 2m distance must be kept between all members who are not in the same household, but preferably more.
• A rotation of volunteers will happen to ensure socially distancing will happen
