Tonia Maclean & Connor Maclean- Wings of History
Wings of History
Our presentation covers the history of aviation from the first, recorded flight, through the invention of powered flight by the Wright Brothers, and on to the less well-known innovations in aviation through the ages to present day. The slide show features some of the exhibits at our museum which Connor, being a docent, tells the interesting and rather amusing stories behind each.

Connor Maclean began working as a docent at the Wings of History Air Museum in 2021 when he was 16 years old. At that time, he was the youngest docent ever to be recruited by the museum. His enthusiasm for all things aviation made him very popular with guests and colleagues alike and led to a drive to recruit more young people as volunteer docents. Today, the museum has a team of young docents called, "Teen Squadron" of which Connor is a leading member. Connor is also an FAA part 107 certified drone pilot and enjoys making short, documentaries in his spare time which he posts online.

Tonia Maclean is a volunteer member with the Wings of History Air Museum, dedicated to increasing public outreach.
