Weekly Luncheon Meeting at the Q

It's time to register for our next upcoming luncheon meeting on Thursday, April 6th, at the Q!  This week will feature Amie Collins, Executive Director of “Comfort Foods Community”, a food bank in Washington County. Here is their website: https://www.comfortfoodcommunity.org/ They are a food bank, but also work directly with farmers in Washington County, AND they provide great health and wellness programs that help give people the tools they need to eat better. Chronic and preventable disease rates are far higher among poor communities, partly because of the much higher cost of fresh, healthy food. They are working to tackle this as well. It’s a great program so come join us to hear more about it next week!

Also, we will again have our regular buffet lunch so please try to register as soon as you receive this email since we need to provide an accurate count for the Q to prepare enough meals and seating for the luncheon. To pay by credit card simply scroll down the page and click the blue "Register Now" link. If you plan to bring a guest, you can register your guest and then scroll down to pay for both you and guests. You may pay at the door/lunch table on Thursday; however, we ask you to pay in cash or by check to expedite the process. If you plan to attend but NOT have lunch, simply indicate "No Lunch" in the comments section after you register.
