I appreciated the opportunity to talk about the upcoming Rotary Year this week (thanks, Bob!). There was one outstanding question that I wanted to follow up on for everyone. Sally asked how donations could be made to the Spartan Thrift Store at SHS, and after talking with one of the sponsors of the Thrift Store, I found out that there is a bin in the Main Office for donations. You can drop things off at the High School, and I would also be willing to take anything that you bring to one of our Rotary Meetings and make sure it gets to the High School.
Lastly, I just want to remind you that the Spartan Thrift Store is open to SHS students for shopping, but it is not open to the public. SHS students can acquire things that other family members might like/appreciate, but by and large, the most useful donations will be things that a high school student would get the most use out of.
Sally, thanks for the question. Have a great weekend everyone!
