I am reaching out to you as we have out Holiday Green Raffle going on. We currently have distributed just over 100 of the available 500 tickets and this is my ask of you:
Please reach out to your friends, family, and acquaintances to see if they would be interested in purchasing a raffle ticket. We will have three $1,000 winners to be drawn on 12/18/2022 so there isn’t a ton of time left to sell them. I would be happy to hand-deliver tickets to you or leave them at Resource Bank for you to pick up. We need to sell about 130 tickets to break even, but every additional ticket sold supports the work that we do in our community and will go to assist our local food pantries at a time of year when the need is great! Please let me know if I can assist in any further way. Below is a copy of an email that Bob Brown sent out to his friends and family if you want to use this as a template. Here's a chance for you to possibly win a $1,000 Cash Raffle before your Christmas bills arrive at your home!
My Sycamore Rotary Club is offering raffle tickets at $25 each with a chance to win three $1,000 cash prizes. The drawing is on Sunday, December 18th so the window of opportunity is fast approaching.
Since some of you are not local, I would be happy to "front the money" for your ticket purchase. Just email me back your quantity of $25 tickets, put a check in the mail written out to me...in the meantime I'll fill out a raffle ticket for you, send you via email your ticket stub, and submit your entry before the drawing day!
I'll publish the winning names by the end of Monday, December 19.
