Installation, Ovitz Award presentation during Club Assembly

The Club Assembly previously scheduled for the July 1st Sycamore Rotary Club meeting has been expanded, to include two important events delayed by the postponement of the annual Golf Outing.

 

The Installation Ceremony for incoming Club President Russell Bishop, as well as the new officers for the coming Rotary year, will be held during the meeting.  Sue Emberson will become the President-Elect, and Ray Dembinski will be joining the Board of Directors.

 

We will also be presenting the John W. Ovitz, Jr. Rotarian of the Year Award to this year's recipient, as selected by the members of our Club.

 

The meeting will also include an update on the Golf Outing, which had to be called off due to flooding at the Sycamore Golf Course.  Dan Gibble, Executive Director of the Sycamore Park District -- and chairman of the Golf Outing Committee -- will advise us when the course may be playable, and whether a make-up date is available this season.
