In Memoriam: Kurt Klein
Former DeKalb County Judge and Sycamore Rotarian Kurt Klein died suddenly on January 15th in New Mexico. Friends and family say he died of an apparent heart attack, while at a barber shop near his home.
Kurt was the chief judge for the 23rd Circuit in DeKalb County from 2001 to 2012, overseeing the construction of the new addition to the DeKalb County Courthouse. He was also a longtime member of our Rotary Club, and a participant in many of our projects.
His remains will be cremated, and returned to Illinois; a memorial service in his honor will be held on Monday, January 25th at St. Mary's Church in Sycamore.
