SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — Illinois native and legendary actress Betty White is getting her own day in her home state.
Senator Don Harmon, D-Oak Park, filed a resolution on Wednesday that would make Jan. 17, 2022 "Betty White Day" in Illinois.
The Illinois Senate adopted Sen. Harmon's resolution the same day it was filed.
Betty White was born in Oak Park, Illinois on Jan. 17, 1922, and went on to lead an extensive and storied acting career.
